New House Member - Tigger

Well just got to say, Tigger seem to like this place just as well as I old place. I think it must be the food here, Yeah, right... it is food, and Tigger loves food, any kind!

Tigger has been doing well around and so far he has been good to the new place as well as I have been.

I let him come and go from time to time, but he never seem to go far from the door, and may times he comes right back. I know it is the food he is thinking about!

Any way, I will get more pictures posted soon.

Well, It's been a while since my last post, been busy. Since the last post, Tigger became himself once again after a few days. Must be just having one of those days like we all seem to have.

Well since my last post, I got a new house and we both moved to it around Thanksgiving and Tigger has moved in here just fine.

On Sure wet days , Tigger has been out side, and since this area is still under construction I there is plenty of mud around here and Tigger seems to find it before coming back home. Good thing he does not mind a bath on those days.

Well Tiger went out this evening around 6:30 PM, and when he came back, close to 10 PM, he was all wet and muddy. I had to give him a bath due to the mess is was in. I did not see any problems with him other then being muddy. I dried him off with just a towel and let him do the rest.

Later he went to the bedroom and curled up and went to sleep beside the bed. In the morning he was still in the same place, and he did not wake me up. I got up and put his food in the bowl and he came and ate it all up. Went to work as normal.

Came home and here comes Tigger walking with a little limp in his front paws, cannot tell if it is the right or the left side he was limping to. most of the time has is walking around the house just fine, but a moving a little slower. Does not seem to have any tender spots on him. Gave him a brushing as normal, lots of loose fur, as always.

I am a little worried about the reason for him limping a little.

Today I found out that I like potato chips! So crunchy that I could be heard eating them from the other room! They where those think oven baked chips. I bet like most good tasting stuff, they may not be good for my health, and I know I need to loose a few extra pounds.

I would always walk around Allan's key board, and I know he did not like that, and I would put in a few extra letters as I went by. But today, he put out some scotch tape next to the keyboard and man did I get stuck up with that tape, Ouch! I am going to have to watch out for that stuff, I hate it!

Yeah, well guess what? I started Tigger on the can food only diet as the vet recommended, and while the auto feeder was turned off, I still saw that the food in it was going down. It seems that Tigger has figured a way to grab the food out of the feeder while it was not to have been letting him get any. So, just how much extra food has he been getting, I am not sure, but we can see it was too much. Well I will put up the auto feeder along with the bag of food that I still have for it.

It was that time once again, the semi annual feline check-up. Took him in this morning and picked him up this afternoon. Well it did not surprise me, Tigger is over weight. He had gained another 3 lbs since his last visit. You would think i am giving him unlimited amount of food, but all he is limited to the amount of food he is getting. The auto feeder is set for 1 minute in the morning at 6 AM, and that should be equal to 1 1/2 oz of dry food, AIMS Indoor. And then in the evening, he get 1/2 a can of food, right now it is Purina Friskies or 9Lives (5.5 oz cans). The vet recommends that I just feed him the fishy can food, like the tuna for a while. So, so much for the auto feeder right now.

They also gave me some rubber glove and a small vial, I guess that is for a stool sample, how pleasant.

Tigger still love to play with those little fuzzy mice.
