Beijing - Aug 02 2004 Monday

My greatest breakfast in Beijing was the big Shandong pancake,  and eaten list like a sandwich. It was the best !!!  The pancake is made of 4 types of flour, small yellow rice, small green beans, and others, then covered with 2 eggs, until cooked, then removed and covered with 2 types of red salty jam, then covered with scallions, and Cilantro. And then a fried crispy cake and rolled up ready to eat ! Boy, was it good! So big though, I could not eat two of them, but I could eat one every day if they where in Hosuton.  Video File 21mg

Very clean health wise, and they never touched any money, and when they did, it was only with tongs which was a funny thing to see.

below is the streets of a famous market street in Beijing that has a history well over 100 years old. And it was packed with people day and night, really neat place to see, but watch out for pick-pocket, I had a guy going for my camera there. Every thing you could think of was just about down here!!!  This was just walking distance from my hotel and from the Forbidden City and Tian'an Men Square.
