Finding the camera was not too hard, but this was not some all ready made up unit, but a board camera. One thing about the camera, it must be capable of reverse imaging, other wise it will not work out too well. So I will have to build a case for it. |

And here it is as it would be mounted. Right now it is still not complete, I still need to paint the case red to match the truck and I will cover the camera's PC board in some sealant to protect it from an moisture once in service. |

Finally I found a monitor, and it is also a TV, so it will double it's services while in the Hummer. This TV I found on E-Bay and won it for $177.00, and I was looking at a few other monitor/TV's all in the price range of $300-400 that also would have worked out just great. |

4" TFT color LCD monitor, 12 volts, ABS case, Mfg. Marshall. But under low lighting the monitor did not look so great, so this one was returned. It was also a little bigger then I wanted in the case. Did not have a good why to be mounted either. |

2.9" TFT color LCD monitor, 6-7.5 volt, Mfg. - Citizen, This was okay, but still not what I was looking for, But made a great small color monitor for my security camera/VCR setup else where. |

Here is another new camera that I am looking in to using with the rearview system. It is from Spyville.com $169.95. I ordered one with white LEDS in it, but this one here came with out them. It is a CMOS camera, 3 lux, mirror image, field of view, I think it is about 92-110 deg. |
I hope before to long I will have my rear view camera in service now that I have a monitor coming. Aug. 8, 1999.
